The St. Thomas of Villanova Libraries consists of a Main Library, High School Library, Grade School Library, Graduate
School Library and Instructional Media Centers
which provides resources, facilities and services for the whole academic community.
Main Library
The Main Library is a multi-disciplinary library serving all College faculty, staff
and students and primarily those from the Colleges of Commerce, Criminology, Engineering, Liberal Arts, Nursing, and the Graduate School.
For functional and effective library services the Main Library is divided into different
service areas/section: Circulating Books Area; Internet/CD-ROM Station; Circulation/Reserve Section; Periodicals Section;
Control Area; Reserved Section; Filipiniana Section; Technical Section; General Reference Section; and Theses/FS Section.
High School Library
It is conveniently located on the second floor of SSC-R de Cavite - Cañacao Campus Building. The library collection consists primarily of books and other library materials to support
the curricular offerings of the department. Its collection covers general references, general/subject related books such as history, social
studies, computer, etc., Filipiniana books, fictions, periodicals/supplementary materials and audiovisual materials.
Grade School Library
The Grade School Library is strategically located on the
ground floor (left wing) of SSC-R de Cavite - Cañacao Campus
Building. The Library houses
collection of books on various subjects. Within the library, a separate area
is devoted for the preschoolers and primary grade pupils.
Graduate School Library
The Graduate School Library is strategically located within
the Main Library. The library’s collection housed in this section supports the curricula
of the Graduate School of Business and Administration.
Audiovisual/Instructional Media Centers
The Instructional Media Center (IMC) is one of the units of the College Library, which provides a wide range of audiovisual
resources, equipment and services to enhance the quality of teaching and learning activities of the students. It is located on the third floor of Sta.
Monica Building (Main Campus)
and third floor (right wing) of Cañacao Campus building.
