The card catalog is an essential tool in locating library materials. The library maintains two types of card catalogs—the traditional card catalog and the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC).

For easier and faster information search, library user is advice to use the Athena Quick Search. You can use it to perform author, title, subject, and all-category searches:

From the Welcome screen, or any Athena menu, click the SEARCH quick start button.

Type a search term in the box at the top of the screen. The spotlight on the SEARCH button will turn green, indicating that Athena is ready to start the search.
